(Pipe) Thread Sealant
(Pipe) thread sealant provides a fast and secure solution for joining bearings, shafts, and bushings by filling gaps and compensating for surface irregularities. It eliminates the need for additional securing elements and is ideal for applications such as ball, roller, and plain bearings, as well as bushings and pins.
Before application, the parts should be thoroughly cleaned. After curing, (pipe) thread sealant is resistant to high temperatures, vibrations, oils, greases, and chemicals, and protects against loosening, vibration, and fretting corrosion.

Information about anaerobic adhesives – (pipe) thread sealing
An anaerobic thread sealant is a liquid or paste-like sealant used to seal metal threaded connections. It cures in the threaded gap in the absence of air and upon contact with metal.
“Anaerobic” means that curing takes place in the absence of oxygen. As long as the sealant is exposed to air, it remains liquid. Curing only begins once it is confined between closely fitting metal surfaces.
Anaerobic thread sealants are used to seal metal pipe threads, screw connections, fittings, plugs, hydraulic and pneumatic connections, and threaded joints in technical systems.
A thread sealant is designed to seal threaded connections against liquids or gases. A threadlocker prevents screws and bolts from loosening due to vibration. Both products cure anaerobically but have different viscosities, strength levels, and approvals.
Yes, anaerobic thread sealants can provide a certain degree of protection against loosening. However, a suitable threadlocker should be used for applications specifically requiring screw or bolt locking.
Anaerobic thread sealant completely fills the threaded gap, cures within the thread, and can form a reliable, vibration-resistant seal. Unlike tape or hemp, it is less likely to shift during assembly and can also help protect the thread against corrosion.
